Volume routes through Laem Chabang, the deep-sea port serving Bangkok and the Chonburi–Rayong industrial belt — Thailand’s export-oriented aquafeed mills cluster there precisely because of it. Animal feed falls under the Department of Livestock Development (DLD). Where material is destined for aquafeed the Department of Fisheries (DOF) also has a role, with importers of registered controlled feed submitting a request ahead of each shipment before the import letter is issued.
